These terms apply to your use of this website and to any goods and services we supply. Please read them before you accept a quote or ask us to start work. “We”, “us” and “our” mean SF London. “You” means the person or business we are dealing with.
1. About us
SF London supplies and fits shopfronts, roller shutters, glass and aluminium works, security locks, gates and canopies, and carries out repairs and emergency callouts, mainly for commercial premises across Greater London.

2. Quotes and site surveys
We offer a free site survey and a written quote. A quote sets out the work, materials, specification and price, and stays open for the period stated on it. Prices are shown with or without VAT as stated on the quote. If the scope, access or site conditions differ from what was surveyed, we may need to revise the price and will tell you before we go ahead.
3. Forming a contract
A contract is formed when you accept our written quote (email is fine) and we confirm the booking. Any deposit or staged payment stated in the quote is due as set out there. Advice given before a contract is formed is for guidance only.
4. Payment
You must pay our invoices by the date and in the instalments stated in the quote or invoice. If a business customer pays late, we may charge statutory interest and reasonable debt recovery costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Goods remain our property until we have been paid in full.
5. Made to measure goods and cancellation
Most of our products are made to your measurements. Once manufacture has started, you cannot cancel the order, and if you change or cancel before then, we may charge for work done and materials ordered.
If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these terms do not affect. These include, where they apply, a right to cancel within 14 days of contracts made away from our premises. That right does not apply to goods made to your specification or to urgent repairs you ask us to carry out straight away. Please contact us if you want to cancel and we will explain your options.
6. Access, permissions and site responsibilities
You must give us safe access to the premises and the working area, and tell us about anything that may affect the work, such as hidden services or structural issues. You confirm you are the owner of the premises or have the owner or landlord’s permission for the work.
Some work needs planning permission, conservation area or listed building consent, a licence for projections over the highway, or landlord approval. We will advise where we can, but obtaining consents is your responsibility unless we agree otherwise in writing.
7. Timescales
Dates and lead times we give are estimates unless we agree a fixed date in writing. We are not liable for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as supplier delays, weather, or lack of access.
8. Emergency callouts
Our emergency line is available 24 hours a day. Response times, including our aim to reach most London postcodes in under 60 minutes, are targets and not guarantees, and depend on location, traffic and demand. Emergency work aims first to make the premises safe and secure. Permanent repairs may follow as a separate job. Out of hours rates and callout charges will be explained before we attend.
9. Materials and finishes
Colours, glass, finishes and natural variations may differ slightly from samples, photos or screens. We will supply the products set out in the written specification.
10. Guarantees
Our work and products are guaranteed as set out in your written quote or invoice. A guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, break ins, lack of reasonable maintenance, alterations by others, or normal wear and tear. Manufacturers’ guarantees on components pass to you where they can be transferred.
11. Complaints and defects
If you are unhappy with anything, tell us in writing as soon as possible and give us the chance to inspect and put it right. We will respond promptly and work with you to resolve the issue.
12. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else that cannot legally be limited. Subject to that, and to your rights as a consumer, we are not liable to business customers for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any job is limited to the price you paid for it.
13. Using this website

14. Privacy
We handle personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy.
15. General
- These terms and your accepted quote are the whole agreement between us for the work.
- Changes to a contract must be agreed in writing.
- If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Only you and we have rights under a contract, and you may not transfer your rights without our written consent.
16. Governing law
These terms and any dispute about them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you accept a quote is the one that applies to that job.
